Philips Lighting: »Dynamic Lighting« Web Site

Medium: web site
Year: 2005
Client: Philips Lighting /
jung und pfeffer
Team: Ole Kaleschke, Friederike Lambers, Boris Müller, Florian Pfeffer, Daniel Salas

Philips has recently developed the innovative lighting concept »Dynamic Lighting«. As part of an europe wide campaign, a website was needed that would explain and visualise the ideas and applications behind the concept.

Dynamic Lighting is an advanced lighting solution that brings the dynamics of daylight into the working environment. Following the rythm of daylight, Dynamic Lighting creates a stimulating ambience and enables individuals to control the lighting according to their preferences.

The graphic design firm jung und pfeffer and I have developed a website that reflects the ideas of continually changing light. In a number of small interactive examples, users can explore the way that different lighting conditions influence the appearance of spaces and the well-being of the people in it. But changing light was also used as a design element. The apperance of the webpage ist continually changing during the day.

Launch the Dynamic Lighting website.

The Dynamic Lighting website has received an iF communication design award / digital media in 2005.
